We’re always looking for assistance funding events, or for new places to run our events. If you have or know of a great space for a camp, a fun park looking to help children in need or a similar way to make a magical Mirabel event, please get in touch.
Grassroots Football Lunch
Friday, 21st March 2025 - Zinc
Please join us for another amazing day of socialising at Zinc Fed Square, raising funds to assist Mirabel children access sport.
Last financial year, the funds raised covered 537 sport expenses.

The Cubbies by Joan Healey
We would like to celebrate the impending launch of a new book, The Cubbies by Joan Healey, one of the original carers who inspired the creation of Mirabel.
The Cubbies is the most unlikely of stories, especially in these days of rules and regulations. Joan passionately believed in the rights and needs of kids to be able to play freely, as they wished. By establishing a Fitzroy playground that survives to this day, although maybe not quite so wild as in the Seventies, she changed the playing field (pun intended).
