Mirabel’s Urban Camp: From Country to the City

On the first weekend in July, twenty incredible young people from across regional Victoria had an unforgettable weekend at Mirabel's Urban Camp in Melbourne’s iconic CBD.

From our very own Amazing Race in the heart of the city to ice skating to cheering on our favourite AFL teams at the iconic MCG, every moment was packed with fun and excitement. In fact, to ensure the weekend was filled to the brim with new experiences, we also visited ACMI, took part in a circus skills workshop, and went to the movies to see Inside Out 2.

A huge shoutout to everyone who made this amazing camp possible – and to our young participants for their enthusiasm, spirit, trust and bravery. We hope the memories and new friendships last a lifetime.

Also, a big thank you to Nando’s for their generous support. Their delicious meals not only fuelled our young campers, staff and volunteers, but also brought big smiles and joy.
